Matts ITS RX7 was purchased back in 2005 and was the first car of the RidgeSpeed stable. In its early days the car was in rather poor condition, which was apparent when the engine blew up during Matts first SCCA race at Watkins Glen! Since that day the RX7 has been slowly improved piece by piece when time and budget allowed. As the team grew, so did our mechanical abilities and more of the work on the car was performed in house by RidgeSpeed founders Matt and Andrew. Today Matt's RX7 is one of the fastest in the northeast and holds two track records, one at NJMP Thunderbolt and the other at NJMP Lightning. Other shops that have worked on the car include Flatout Motorsports and KDR Rotary.
