ProIT coming to the NE

 

RidgeSpeed is excited to hear that the ProIT series originally developed down south is coming to the NE! This should be an excellent series with plenty of track time, sponsorship appeal, and a noteworthy rewards system. Rumor has it that the first event will take place during the first Pocono double of the season. This is the same weekend as the 2.5 hour night time enduro! This was by far our favorite event of last season and you can expect to see both RidgeSpeed cars in both of these events. Thanks to Driving Impressions and others for putting this together. Hope to see all IT competitors come out and support this new series!

 

2007 Season Concludes, Plans for 08 underway!

 

The 2007 season was a great success for Ridgespeed driver Matt and Andrew. It was a very educational year as Ridgespeed visited new tracks like Pocono and Summit Point. Andrew finished strong across the board in SM landing several top ten finishes. Matt finally broke into the podium with one pole, one 3rd place and two 2nd place finishes in the last three races at the Glen! Development for the 2008 season has already begun with the restoration of our new '91 ford E350 ambulance tow vehicle nearing completion, and a conversion of Andrew's SM to SSM planned in the near future. The Rx7 will also be going through extensive development this winter in both the power and handling departments, which should result in a consistently podium capable car for the 2008 season.
